Our Minister
Bro. Harold Young
Harold Young is a native Arkansan. He was baptized into Christ at an early age. He began preaching the glorious gospel at the Dixie Church of Christ in North Little Rock, AR.
Brother Young attended Baptist College in Little Rock, receiving an Associate degree in Theological Studies and Pulaski Technical College where he received his Associate in Industrial Technology and Industrial Electronics. He has also attended Harding College and University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Harold has been preaching the gospel for over 30 years and his experiences are numerous. He served with distinction as minister of the East Side Church of Christ, Little Rock, AR and the Fordyce Church of Christ , each for 5 years. He has been the minister of the 5th Street congregation of the Church of Christ here in Newport, AR for the last 18 years.
Brother Young is perpetually busy speaking across the state of Arkansas, at Lectureships, Conferences, and Marriage Retreats. A man of many talents he is also a great chef.
Harold and his lovely wife Karen have four children. They now reside in Sherwood, Arkansas.
